Installation of Taper Lock Pulley:

To ensure that your pulley is installed correctly, you must follow certain instructions. Here are some of them:

1. Ensure that fit cones, holes and shafts are completely clean and free of oil or dirt.
2. Bushing must be cracked and fatigued.
3. Insert it into the hub so that the holes are properly aligned and matched.
4. Evenly tighten the screws using a torque wrench.
5 Once the screws are fully tightened, you can now assemble your conical lock pulley.

Remove any setting screws or cover screws first. You will also need to remove any lubricant from the threads of the sleeve or cover screws and bushings. After that, you must place the flange of the bush on the conical hub. This will create a snug fit for the shaft.

Once this is done, you must tighten the lid or set the screws to the recommended torque setting.

After placing the assembly on the shaft, the set screw or cap screw must be tightened evenly to achieve the recommended torque setting. You must also check the bushing for nicks or burrs. You can then insert the key into the shaft keyway and make sure it is installed correctly.
